Location: Westfield,MA,United States Member Since: Apr 29, 2009 Gender: Male Goal Type: Boston Qualifier Running Accomplishments: I have just started running after my dad ran the Boston Marathon a few days ago. He asked me if I would train to run the last 6 miles with him, and I did. I ran from Heartbreak Hill to the finish line with him. The race caught my interest immediately, so I did a ton of research and developed my own training schedual. I started on Monday, so I'm literally just starting to run. Short-Term Running Goals: I want to be able to qualify for the Boston Marathon, in which I will need a time of 3:10. Long-Term Running Goals: I would like to not only enter, but WIN races later in life, whether they are only 5k, or if they are marathons. Personal: I'm 19, 5'7", 140 lbs. I'm one of 5 children, the second oldest. My fastest mile run ever was a few weeks ago, at 6:30. On that day I ran a 6:30, followed by a 6:50, so I know its possible to run a sub 7 minute mile for several miles for me. |
